Swiftly after announcing his headline tour this summer, Knucks gives us a taste of what should be expected with his newest project, which this tour will be centred on. ‘Alpha House/ Hide & Seek’ allows us to see two different aspects of Knucks' music as well as two very different stories in a short 5 minutes, which beautifully encapsulate how complex and difficult life was like on his block. We first are drawn in through the reminiscent and warm tone of ‘Alpha House’ as the rapper speaks about how this will always be his home. In a vast contrast, ‘Hide & Seek’ focuses on life on the road and being afraid of the police as a young black man - a feeling that he has experienced since childhood.
